THREE AMAZING FACTS ABOUT LIFE (Part Seven)

Water, land and the sky are proofs to the history of mankind

There are three things that are truly constant. Water, Land and the Sky are proofs to the history of mankind. People, countries and time, everything changes. Nothing survive forever, but the Father(God), Son(Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit (the comforter) are truly constant. The constancy of Almighty God is evident in everything in heaven and on earth.

Before going further, let us know the meaning of the word ''Constant''.

The Oxford Advanced Learners’ Dictionary defines the word constant as, ''something that does not change, a thing that happens all the time or repeatedly.'' It also defines the word constancy as, ''the quality of being faithful''.

The Bible Dictionary explain the word ''Constant'' in the following ways, In 1 Chronicles 28 (chazaq) meaning "firm," "strong." In Proverbs 21:28 the adverb ("constantly") of the King James Version is replaced in the American Standard Revised Version by "shall speak so as to endure," the English Revised Version "unchallenged." the Revised Version (British and American) gives "confidently" for the King James Version "constantly" in Acts 12:15; Titus 3:8.

The constancy of God’s word leaves us in no doubt about the truth of creation and the supreme power behind it. He is God, the infinite and the Immortal Being who existed in eternity before the beginning. His word is the key that opened the door of creation. The word of God is his deeds and His actions. He said, ''let there be and there was''. In 1st Cor. 14:33, the bible says, ''for God is not a God of disorder but of peace'' (NKJV). He is the God of peace, joy, happiness, holiness, faithfulness and righteousness.

God created a wonderful and awe-inspiring univers. The galaxies could not have come about by accident.

Their existence and the little we comprehend about them show His constancy and, it should make every one of us bow in reverence, giving praise to God.

''Whoever does not love, does not know God, because God is love'' (1 John 4:8).
So, God created the world and gave us His only Son as an expression of His love.

Hebrews 1:3a says “The son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful words.” God with His attributes of love, goodness, power and creativity is always constant by fashioning and sustaining all with his capabilities.

Jesus Christ is a total reconciliatory package from God to man. He cleanses, forgives and restores man to God, a Light to the gentiles. He is also known as the Gift of Life as well as the Lamb of God. Jesus is an indispensable Door to eternal life. No one can go to the Father except through Him. This is the reason Jesus Christ continues to show His greatness in healing, casting out demons, setting free those who are in bondage and also giving salvation to the gentiles.

People, countries and time, everything changes.

To further show the constancy of God through Jesus, He said in John 14:15-17 “if you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will send you another helper, that he may abide with you forever. The spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” If you love Him and you keep His commandments, not  only will the Spirit of truth come to dwell in you, God will also come to make his abode in you.

The Holy Spirit is our teacher, helper and our comforter. Jesus said in verse 23 of John, ''but the helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

As it is established above, God is always there, even when it seems difficult to feel His presence. Therefore, don’t be lazy in searching the scriptures to know the truth so that no one will mislead you.
