THREE AMAZING FACTS ABOUT LIFE (Part One)

There are three things in life that once gone, never comes back, it is called “TWO” which means: Time, Word, Opportunity.

They are very important and also, care must be taken in other not to be taken unaware.

1. TIME: Once lost, it will never come back again. It is once said “Time waits for nobody”. Time is always in haste, it runs 100% speed. 
The Scripture talks about time in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to harvest what is planted…” 

At this stage, if you are not sensitive, you will find out that you don’t measure up; thereby you lost out. 

When it is time to plant and you fold your hands, you will discover that others are reaping and you, become an onlooker. An adage says “No cross, no crown” a life without Christ is full of crises.

Use your time wisely. Strike while the iron is hot; invest your time for the Kingdom of Heaven and for humanity.

2.WORD: 

Word is a single unit of language which means “something that can be spoken….” (Oxford Dictionary) every word proceeded out of your mouth means something, it carries power and also has life. Through the spoken words, salvation, healing, destruction and deliverance can take place. There is power in spoken word. Your word is like an egg, once uttered can never be retrieved.

This is why the Scripture makes it clear to us that “the power of death and life is in our tongue”. All idle words shall be accounted for. If you use your mouth and say a word it shall be so to you. And if it is a negative word, it will cleave to you immediately. 

In Deuteronomy 30:14, It is written “but the word is very near to you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it”.

Napoleon Hill put it this way ''Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve'' and Walt Disney  coined it “If you can dream it, you can do it”. Do the work of God, love and obey Him, walk in His ways and speak of His goodness and His righteousness in other to make this world a better place to live in. God said in the Holy Bible, “let there be light, and light came forth”, our word can build or destroy a nation if care is not taken.

Think twice before saying a word. It is written in the Bible that, “Be fast to hear but slow to speak.” Once you speak you cannot take it back. A man that speaks rightly and positively always has sufficient ideas at his disposal. Always mind what you say.

3. OPPORTUNITY: 

Albert Einstein once said, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle, another is as if everything is”. Opportunity is to take the advantage of a thing at a given period of time, and when it comes and you miss it, it is only the grace of God that can bring another one.

The leper at the pool almost lost it, but God had compassion on him. The Time came for him to be set free and a simple Word came to him because the time has come for him to be set free, but this man started telling stories instead of him to say yes I want to be made whole. By the Grace of God, you will not miss your own opportunity in Jesus name.

As I said earlier, opportunity comes but once. You have to be watchful all the time and be sensitive to Holy Spirit so that you will not miss out. If all these facts escape from your hand, they will never come back. The will to win, the desire to succeed and the effort to do and be the best which will unlock the door to personal excellence are embedded in “TWO”.

Finally, your net worth (the word in you) is important than your outlook. Next week we shall look at other three facts about life, part two, till then have a successful and a breakthrough weekend.
