Bible Reading: I Peter 2:9-10

Text: Romans 12:2 KJV

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

As new creatures in Christ Jesus, our priorities going forward is centered on pleasing God. Before we take any decision, the new man must evaluate his/action(s) in the mind. 

This is because the mind is central to your being. You win or lose from the mind.

The new man must therefore renew his/her mind with the word of God daily (Rom. 12:2). What other characters does the new man display?

i) He displays unwavering faith in God. He will face challenges but in all these, the trust in God will be unshakeable. He will navigate the storms of life with confidence that God is there guiding his steps, Romans 8:28.

ii) The new man displays uncompromised integrity. Your word is your bond, living a life of honesty and transparency. Your actions reflect God you represent, Proverbs 11:3, Gen. 1:26. Like I always define integrity, it is what you do in your secret place: when no one is watching you. What you do then shows whether you have integrity or not, John 14:30.

iii) Live a life of unconditional service to God and humanity. You serve God by serving your neighbors. You use your gifts and talents to uplift others and make the world a better place, Galatians 5:13, I John 4:20.

Let these characters we have discussed since yesterday blossom in your life. Remember, as a new creature you are the light of the world. Try and affect lives positively. Only Jesus can help you do this, surrender to Him to influence your life.
